Marie Williams was kind enough to invite me to speak to the Knollwood Garden Club at their meeting held at the Greenwich Botanical Center in Cos Cob, Connecticut. You can see Marie above in pink with me and the Club President, Carolyn Nielsen.
Carolyn first conducted their business meeting with reports from the members present and I was very impressed by this active, engaged group. In addition to the many civic activities they do for the larger community, the Club maintains an historic garden designed by the famous Marian Cruger Coffin. It is Seaside Garden on Greenwich Point, once part of the J. Kennedy Tod Estate and being beautifully restored. The meeting culminated in a delightful, informal lunch.
