Walk through the Front Gate along the driveway, planted with hostas in blue, gold and greens, opposite viburnums and rhododendrons.
The Moon Garden
From early Spring until late Fall, there is the music of the fountain’s splashing water.
After her first decade of gardening efforts, Barbara was inspired by one ancient rose that remained, having survived decades of neglect.
The Peony and Wheelbarrow Borders
Are just past the Rose Walk, between the south terrace of the house and the barn inside old stone walls.
The Serpentine Garden
Is a terraced slope above the Peony and Wheelbarrow Borders.
The Woodland Walk
At the top of the Serpentine Garden, the Woodland Arch, or “WA” marks the entrance to the Woodland Walk and the Waterworks.
