It was a beautiful Columbus Day Weekend in northwest Connecticut but people took time away from leaf-peeping to stop into the wonderful Hickory Stick Bookshop in the center of Washington to buy my book. Here I am signing away and having time to visit and chat with many who came to this treasure of a fine independent book shop.
