Garden Conservancy Talk at the Crowe’s Garden in Lake Forest

A lovely cocktail reception preceded my talk in the beautiful gardens of Jack and Peggy Crowe.  The heart of their garden was designed by Rosemary Verey, a perfect setting to talk about her life.

A Bit of Background

The gardens have evolved over 40 years, beginning in 1971 when the Robinsons first acquired their 1750’s clapboard farmhouse, in the hills of Litchfield County in northwestern Connecticut.
