Martha and John Watts are hosting a book party at their lovely home in Brooklyn Heights for supporters of the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.   I will be speaking briefly and engaging in conversation about my book, as well as signing books.

Columbus Day weekend is the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful Fall color in the Litchfield Country hills.  I will be signing books at my favorite bookstore, The Hickory Stick Bookshop in my own town of Washington Saturday afternoon.

I am looking forward to speaking about my book at Wisley, the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society on the outskirts of London.

I will be speaking and signing books at a lunch time event in the Potager Restaurant at Barnsley House, the very subject of my book about Rosemary Verey who lived and created her gardens there.  Barnsley House is now an elegant hotel located in the Village of Barnsley, near Cirencester in Gloucestershire, England.

My scheduled book signing at Byrd's Books in Bethel Connecticut this Sunday afternoon, November 4 has been cancelled due to the fall out of Hurricane Sandy.  People are still without power and struggling to recover.  The event will be re-scheduled at a date yet to be announced.

A book talk and chance to visit the Queens Botanical Garden in Flushing, NY starting at two that afternoon.

I will be speaking at The Horticultural Society of New York and signing books afterwards in the evening, with a gathering at 6 PM and talk beginning at 6:30.
