My dear friends, Joan and Dale Coenen, hosted a lovely book party for me in their elegant Park Avenue apartment on Thursday November 3. It was a multi-purpose celebration — a belated birthday party for Joan since she, my husband Charlie and I are all “Libras” born in October, a bon voyage toast to them as they head off for the winter in Palm Beach and an opportunity for me to say a few words about my book and to sign books bought by many of the guests. A delightful evening for all who were there.
