What a joy it always is to welcome Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the New York City Bar Association. She came to introduce Professor Barbara Babcock, who was invited to deliver this year’s Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Annual Lecture on Distinguished Women and the Law on May 22, 2018. Here we are with the newly inaugurated President of the Association, Roger Maldonado. And here is an overview of the Stimpson Room getting ready for the Justice and special guests to arrive before the program began upstairs in the main meeting room. I gave the Justice a copy of my new book, inscribed to her as “my number one hero, and hero to so many others.” And just like her to bother to take the time afterwards to so generously send me a lovely handwritten thank you note!
