Patricia Kalba brought a delightful group of members of the New Haven Garden Club came to visit on Wednesday, June 17; she wisely had postponed the visit one day to the rain day she had arranged and the weather was perfection. All had been organized to to perfection by Patricia who came a few days ahead of time to reconnoiter. Here she is with me in front of one of the Tors. First the group had a lovely picnic lunch, provided and delivered by The Pantry to Brush Hill. The group spread out, some on the south terrace in the shade.

Others chose the more intimate north terrace overlooking the pond and others chose to go up and sit in the Folly overlooking us all. The roses were just coming into their full glory and some peonies lingered on.
