It was a great pleasure to be asked to talk about my book at The Royal Horticultural Society’s garden at Wisley in Surrey on Sunday, October 28th. The venue was the Plant Center and we had a small, but lively and engaged audience. It was a special delight for me to be able to hang out with the gardeners there to have a bit of tea with them before the talk. It reminded me of my happy days working as a gardener at Barnsley and the many cozy “elevenses” I shared with the team.
