We had a marvelous event at The Garden Museum in London on the evening of October 30, 2012. A great turn out and lively, engaged audience. Jerry Harpur and Andrew Lawson pictured here to the left were there to enjoy their own magnificent photography which illustrated my talk and made it so special. It was their brilliant photography that had been so important in promoting Rosemary Verey and her garden at Barnsley House and to enhancing her many books. There was time for conversation after the talk and then a delightful dinner afterwards hosted by Christopher Woodward, the Director of the Museum shown with me. He had the best bon mot of the evening when during a discussion about Rosemary’s iconic potager, he called me the “Potager Protégée!”
