Here I am with Henriette Suhr, the creator of the marvelous gardens called Rocky Hills and now being preserved for the public’s benefit with the help of The Garden Conservancy which sponsored my talk about my book at the Library in Chappaqua. Henriette is herself a legendary and inspiring figure, just as Rosemary Verey was in her day. It was a privilege and pleasure to speak for Henriette and to be with her. As you will see, always with great style, she is a vibrant person well into her 90’s and still in full charge of her gardens.
I also had the great pleasure of having my brilliant and beautiful editor, Olga Seham Tarnowski come to join me there. She works independently and was invaluable in helping to shape the book.
